On plastic surgery: 
“I have never gone under the knife. I hear people say I have done plastic surgery on my nose. I cannot imagine a desire to fix my nose of all the things I would to my body. It sounds very ridiculous.”

On married life: 
“Married life is great. I am not missing spinsterhood at all. My husband is a great human being. He works and lives in New York. I met him through a doctor friend of mine who is his business partner. After our first meeting, he came to talk to me about some business ventures and that’s how we started talking. My first attraction to him was his personality. I don’t know how many children we plan to have yet.”

Although the 28-year-old Portuguese failed to claim a major trophy at club level, he has been crowned the world's outstanding footballer over the course of the last 12 months.

Messi had won each of the last four editions of the award, including all three since it was endorsed by Fifa, while Ribery played a pivotal part in a historic treble-winning season for the Bavarians, but Ronaldo's tally of 69 goals in 59 games for club and country in 2013 proved decisive.

Ronaldo previously won the award in 2008 as a Manchester United player, but has since finished runner-up to Messi on three occasions (in 2009, 2011 and 2012).

AC Milan has announced the sacking of their manager Massimiliano Allegri after their latest 4:3 defeat to Sassuolo on Sunday.

The Underfire manager recently announced that he would leave Milan at the end of the 2013-14 campaign, but the club today decided to relieve him right away following their ongoing struggles this term.

Breaking News: Senator Magnus Abe shot as Rivers police disrupt APC rally

Senator Magnus Abe, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum (Downstream) and the Chief of Staff to Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, Tony Okocha were reportedly both hit with rubber bullets shot by Rivers police this morning Sunday January 12th during a political rally in Port Harcourt. (The senator pictured above in hospital after the shooting incident)

The Senator had led members of the Save Rivers Movement to a venue where a pro-APC rally was to hold, and the police fired rounds and released teargas in a bid to stop the event. Several people were wounded and have been reportedly transported to the hospital.

Pastor Chris Okotie joins 2015 presidential race

Pastor Chris Okotie of the Household of God Church has announced his intention to run for President in 2015 under his Faith, Responsibility, Equality, Security and Hope (FRESH) Democratic Party.

“I will run in 2015, God willing. God spoke to me about my participation in the political process, which was why I took the step in the first place. He has not said anything contrary.’’ He told Punch

If he goes ahead this will be his third attempt. He ran against Obasanjo in 2003 and against late President Umaru Yar'Adua in 2007.

The 25 year old singer seems to have added another tattoo to the 20 she already has. She was spotted entering her favorite tattoo parlor in New York on Friday night and didn't leave until early Saturday morning. Her tattoo artist Bang Bang later revealed Rihanna's new ink, a cross on her wrist that ties right into the tattoo she already has on her hand.

Awwww....Singer Waje is heartbroken

Singer Waje is currently going through heartbreak. She and her boyfriend of almost a year broke up recently. Waje took to twitter to express her sadness over the end of the relationship. I hear rumour that she will probably make it into a song.
